The housing type SAF3000/3100/3200 is specifically designed for the use of 230K, 231K, 232K series self- aligning roller bearings. The standard material for these housings is grey cast iron. The bearing seat inside the housing is precision-machined to the G7 tolerance class. The sealing is achieved through TS labyrinth seals. Upon customer request, these housings can also be adapted for cylindrical bearings and supplied in a different material.
HBND housings demand precise installation utilizing suitable tools and employing cutting-edge mechanical mounting methodologies. Each associated component is required to adhere to specific foundational criteria.
GLH SAF and SAW housings feature a flat, square base for easy and precise mounting. Caps and bases are individually marked and not interchangeable. Suitable for grease or oil lubrication, they are made of grey cast iron and coated with a corrosion-resistant blue paint (RAL 5001), which can be repainted if needed.

GG20 offers excellent machinability and is highly heat and corrosion-resistant. Additionally, this material provides outstanding finishing capabilities and exhibits excellent properties concerning sound and vibration damping. However, its strength and wear resistance are limited.
